Most studio recording options have a lot of money tied up in unnecessary gear and high overhead costs, and pass that cost onto you.
Local DIY Recording studios like Grove Studios in Ypsilanti are inexpensive, but DON'T have our equipment and our recording experience and service.
Take the guesswork and time-investment out of recording, and let us worry about that! Our main recording room is perfect for vocal takes, and we have cutting edge technology for recording guitar and bass.
Not only are you accessing our space to record, but the equipment necessary to get exactly the kind of sound you need, and a professional to help you use it, or even just lend a helping hand if you’re a solo artist.
Microphones of all size and type, cables, preamps, and instruments. Studio headphones, monitoring, and interfaces. We also have a variety of guitars, basses, and amplifiers and cabinets to choose from, as well as the ability to record direct and re-amp. Session reamping post-session is included in the hourly price, but also available as a standalone service for DI tracks that were recorded elsewhere.
The space itself is modest, but has great acoustics for getting clean recordings. You’ll also find it a comfortable work environment, as we find artists do their best work in the studio when they feel at home!

You'll be provided with the stems cleaned up for mixing, raw without any editing, and a DI track (for guitar/bass).
For guitar, we can offer re-amped versions of performances as well! Just ask.

PAYMENT
To reserve your spot on the calendar, we require a deposit in the amount of 50% of the total session cost to be paid upfront. The remaining 50% is due the day of the session.
We accept PayPal, Venmo, Cash, and Checks.
RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION
We accommodate occasional re-schedules; we get it, life happens! If a date is rescheduled more than once or twice without 48hrs advance notice, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
Cancellations made with five or more business days' advance notice will receive a full refund of their deposit. Cancellations with fewer than five days' notice will not receive a refund.
